Jimmy was 11 years old when he was diagnosed on July 7th, 2007 with Ewings Sarcoma, (a type of childhood cancer). Jimmy's treatment included the removal of the tumor, a piece of his lung, and 3 1/2 ribs. In addition, Jimmy also endured 14 rounds of Chemotherapy. In April 2008, Jimmy was pronounced "clean" and his mediport was removed. Jimmy's upbeat personality and optimism throughout his experience with cancer have touched many. Jimmy hopes to be an actor when he grows up and give part of his earnings to help other children with cancer.
