Mallory is 13 years old and was diagnosed on September 13th 2006 with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL). She underwent 10 months of intensive chemo and now is in the second phase of her maintenance therapy to keep her in remission which she will complete in mid to late January 2009. She has had several hospital stays and was temporarily paralyzed on her right side of her body for three days last May, due to Methotrexate (a medication she continues to have to take) toxicity, as well as numerous other complications. Mallory has had to face many challenges throughout this journey she has had to walk, but she remains extremely upbeat and positive about life. Mallory has a beautiful spirit that has continued to shine through.
